Question by Crush: 'concrete sill' vs. 'wood sill' for a sliding patio door?
We have a brick 2-story home and winters.
We are trying to get a finished a cutout for a new sliding patio door, but the quote says 'poured concrete sill'.
However, when looking on the internet, people seems to be putting these doors in wood sills.
I look around my neighbourhood and people seem to have concrete sills.
What is going on?
