Cl P: CL&P to Send More Crews to Meriden Wednesday [With Video]

The town, which on Monday morning had 100 percent of its CL&P customers without power, according to the company's figures, now has 77 percent without power. That means 4072 of the 5266 CL&P customers in Oxford are still without power.The utility said it planned to ramp up its restoration work in the coming days to meet its goal of almost total power restoration by Sunday.CL&P reports the town is at half-strength with 50% of CL&P customers — 3696 — without power.
