what kind of evergreen to plant ?

Question by cositas: what kind of evergreen to plant ?
I have two 26'' urn planters , one on each side of the entrance of the house , I would like to plant an evergreen so I could have it all year long but i don't know what to get .
I'm thinking of a round shape globe like the little giant or the hetzy midget , I want it to look formal , neat and clean.
Any suggestions please let me know ..Thank you so much !
