Question by Mark R: I want to put a pellet insert fireplace in my fireplace/chimney?
Was told that my chimney is "not recommended" to be used often (previous owner didn't use and did cap... rusted throughout I guess). Do I need to invest in repairing the chimney lining in order to have a pellet stove insert can I use the chimney as is. Or could they just "vent" it partly up the chimney?
